Searching for an engagement ring under 1K? Concerned about the environmental impact of diamond mining? Traumatized by Leo in Blood Diamond? 

Maybe you just don’t like the idea of something that’s dug out of the dirt. Or perhaps you want a bigger diamond of higher quality that’s still within your budget.

There’s a myriad of reasons why people are opting for lab-grown diamond engagement rings, and it can be a difficult decision. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, and it’s a purchase you’ll hopefully cherish forever, so it’s good to consider all the angles.

The most obvious advantage of lab diamonds is their cost. Searching for mined diamonds under $1k won’t produce fantastic results, but you should find plenty of options for lab created diamond engagement rings under S1K

Think of it as the little black dress of settings. Lab-grown pavé is quite a bit more affordable than mined pavé, and gives you more flexibility when it comes to picking a perfect center stone.
