The carat is the unit of weight of a diamond. Carat is often confused with size even though it is actually a measure of weight. One carat equals 200 milligrams or 0.2 grams. Inclusions are only visible with effort under 10x magnification—get out your jeweler’s loupe—but can still be characterized as minor and generally aren’t visible without magnification. Watch out for black inclusions reflecting through the table which can be visible in step cut diamonds.

The diamond has a cut grade of Good. It is not quite as sparkly and brilliant as a Very Good or Ideal cut diamond, but it will still have some sparkle.
